Excellent condition used Shinco 30x magnification student microscope model MIC-500 with vinyl cover. Optimized to be easy to use with little care needed. Glass fine, excellent sharp view right to the edge of the image circle. Prism on the front supplies the light when you point it at a window or some such, focus couldn't be easier by just twisting the barrel (very intuitive), eyepiece on top is held in place by a screw so it won't fall out or get lost. The clips on the table that hold the subject being viewed are permanently affixed, unlike regular microscopes where hey just sit in a hole and can be lost or fall out. Back support makes for an easy handle to carry it. This is not limited to just slide mounted specimens. We looked at ballpoint pen writing on a sheet of white paper and the view was brilliant.  We have seen this model in at least three variations, this one has an all chrome metal tube and objective, it looks like the ones that have a black tube parts might be partially plastic.
